Chiropractic
Our skeletal system is composed of 206 bones. If one of those bones is not moving properly, it can affect the function of our body. Each bone in our body has a different purpose. If one of the 360 joints in the human body misaligns or doesn't move correctly, other joints are having to work double duty to not only do their job but also the job of the joint that has misaligned. This is where the doctors at Hybrid Health come into play. When joints are misaligned, a chiropractic physician can use their hands or an instrument to manipulate the joints of the body, particularly the spine, in order to restore or enhance joint function. Adjustments (or the process of correcting these misalignments) will help free the joints that are moving improperly and allow the muscles to relax.
Dry Needling
“Dry Needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. Dry needling is a technique used to treat dysfunctions in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissue, and, diminish persistent peripheral nociceptive input, and reduce or restore impairments of body structure and function leading to improved activity and participation.”
